Scripture: 1 Peter 2:1-12 | Series: Lent 2018
Peter reminds the scattered Christians of Asia Minor that we are a new family, that needs new desires and cravings for the Gospel to grow. We are also a weird family, that will be rejected, much like Christ was rejected by mankind. But we should be assured that we are still precious to God and that we are growing in Christ thru our desire for the Word. Our job is to be weirder than society around us, even if it means were are even more rejected.
