Scripture: Acts 17 | Series: Uncommon
Portland is a city reputed for its skeptical rejection of religion in comparison with the rest of the country; but not all skeptics are created equal. There are at least two kinds of skeptical attitudes, both on display in Paul's encounter on Mars Hill in Acts 17. But only one of the two proves to be fruitful, honest and praiseworthy - and it's deeply skeptical of the second kind of skepticism, which proves to be irrational, insincere and destructive.
